‘ Vandekeybus’s dances combine startling and often extreme imagery with highly physical and dangerous-looking movement that is almost as exhausting for the audience to watch as it is for the dancers to perform’ Financial Times
An inspiration and collaborator of Guest Director Hofesh Shechter, choreographer Wim Vandekeybus relishes defying his audience's expectations.
Dark and daring, Talk to the Demon pushes the boundaries of dance into the realm of physical theatre as Wim explores the demon within us all and the innocence of childhood.
A theatrical dissection of demons and demonising, ideals and idealising, we’ll take you on a wild ride; through visceral and arresting movement, light and dark, percussion and silence that will leave your heart racing.
Working with a soundscape and spoken word, Talk to the Demon features astonishingly powerful performances from two children alongside a cast of adults.
