Peacock Poetry Prize 2018

In partnership with BHASVIC (Brighton, Hove & Sussex Sixth Form College)

Young poets aged 11–19 are invited to enter the Peacock Poetry Prize. This year, the theme is ‘Hard Work’ inspired by Guest Director David Shrigley’s book of the same title. Whether completing an assignment, building a relationship or breaking a habit, we all work hard on aspects of our daily lives.

To enter, just send the title of poem, your full name, email address, age category (on 16 Apr 2018) and your response to the theme of Hard Work in no more than 14 lines (max. 2 entries per person) to peacock@brightonfestival.org or entries can be sent to Peacock Poetry Prize, 12a Pavilion Buildings Castle Square, Brighton BN1 1EE. Don’t forget to include your name, age, date of birth and an email or postal address.
