David Shrigley

Problem in Brighton

A Brighton Festival commission written and directed by David Shrigley

Problem in Brighton is an alt-rock/pop pantomime starring award-winning actors Pauline Knowles and Gavin Mitchell who previously worked with Shrigley on his 'opera' Pass The Spoon in 2011.

Music is by Brighton-based artist and musician Lee Baker who will lead the Problem Band playing instruments specially created by Shrigley for the performance.

There will be a mosh pit.

Attendees should bring an open mind and ear plugs.

‘Perfectly formed and wholly Shrigleyesque. It was smart yet silly; funny whilst moving and at times, displayed certain elements of genius' (Huffington Post on ‘Pass the Spoon’)
