Sophia Jansson, Philip Ardagh & Philip Pullman ...On Tove Jansson

Chaired by Nicolette Jones

The Finnish writer and artist Tove Jansson (1914–2001) is one of the best-loved authors of the 20th century, creator of The Moomins and the classic The Summer Book. The panel for this event, which celebrates and discusses her work, includes her niece and guardian-in-chief of the Moomins, Sophia Jansson; the iconic author of the His Dark Materials trilogy, Philip Pullman, a Jansson fanatic; and Philip Ardagh, who won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize for his Grubtown Tales.
