Brighton & Sussex Medical School

“We were once again delighted with the success of our debate last year, which seemed to really resonate with our audience. As a young, innovative school that puts the patient at the heart of all our teaching, we are constantly working to develop links within the local community. Sponsoring and participating in the Festival enables us to reach a wide and varied audience, and to create relationships we can build on in the future.”Malcolm Reed, Dean of BSMS

Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) is a partnership between the Universities of Brighton and Sussex, and NHS organisations throughout the South East region. Since 2003 the School has trained more than 1,000 new doctors; developed the careers of clinicians and healthcare professionals; improved patient care through its leading research into a range of issues from dementia, cancer and neuroscience to global health; and become a key part of the medical landscape of Sussex and the South East.
