Morgan: A Suitable Case For Treatment

Redgrave won the first of many Oscar nominations for her debut leading film role in Morgan, a bizarre and brilliant portrait of Swinging London and an anarchic assault on the British class system. Followed by Cinemas of the Mind post-screening discussion at Circus Circus, led by Andrea Sabbadini, director of the European Psychoanalytic Film Festival.

This screening forms part of Vanessa Redgrave on Screen - The 1960s set the tone for the whole of Vanessa Redgrave’s screen career with a series of key roles in seminal films that reflected and expressed an era of social and cultural transformation. To complement the BAFTA: A life in pictures event, Brighton Festival and Cinecity present a selection of her early movie milestones.
