Out Of Chaos
Gravity & Other Myths (Australia) return to Brighton Festival with their most bold and ambitious work yet.
Taking you on a journey through order and chaos, with spectacular stunts and explosive acrobatics contrasting with a sublime original score and intimate confessions.
The performers talk in a stream of consciousness sharing an insight into what it feels like to be on stage in real-time, all while flipping, soaring, twirling and towering three people high. As the performance exposes the inner workings of the world-class acrobat (complete with sweaty armpits) it unveils the magic of connection between performers and the audience.
'... the show merges the best of GOM’s two worlds: the raw and intimate circus of their early days with the production values and spectacle of Backbone.' The Adelaide Review
'Imaginative, thrilling'Artshub
'Dance mutates into dangerous physicality of amazing and refreshingly different physical theatre performance.'The Barefoot Review
'Conceptually brilliant and sophisticatedly simple... circus with a big, pounding heart and an honest. earthy soul'InDaily
