A Piece of 2

5 Feb 2018

Two great rocks, each the size of a person, hang in perfect equilibrium, making the forces of nature tangible. Then the painstaking precision of their poise is wrecked, only to be re-discovered in new ways.

After the hypnotic spectacle of Freeze at Brighton Festival 2015, Dutch artist Nick Steur returns with another compulsive display of rock balancing, this time using steel and muscle to balance colossal boulders. Without the use of any machinery, Nick creates huge yet fragile sculptures in this awe-inspiring outdoor performance of epic proportions!
