Immerse yourself in a transcendent contemporary ritual and succumb to the ecstatic power of music and dance.

Australia’s dance luminaries Lucy Guerin, Gideon Obarzanek and Dancenorth collaborate with Indonesian music duo Senyawa to create a visceral tour de force performance in which sound and movement drive each other into heightened states.

Inspired by Indonesian folk and western guitar music, the performance builds to a frenetic pitch that propels our dancers into wild abandon for an exhilarating experience.

If you'd like to be part of the performance, we're looking people to participate in the performance of Dancenorth’s new work Attractor. We are seeking people of all abilities aged 14+ to participate on stage during the final 15 minutes of the 60 minute performance. Find out more here...

Choreographers Lucy and Gideon give us the low-down on this exciting new performance in our Festival Hot Seat.
