Elgar Violin Sonata in E minor, Op. 82 (1918)

This Polish-born violinist studied in his home city of Poznan before winning a scholarship to Switzerland and later London's Guildhall under Louise Hopkins. At the age of 22 he was appointed concertmaster to the Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra. As a member of the award-winning Cappa Ensemble he has given recitals across the world, and as a concerto soloist he has appeared with numerous European orchestras. Bartosz’s accompanist is Robert Thompson, RNCM and Yale graduate and member of the acclaimed Rhodes Piano Trio.
