The second in our series of evening chamber recitals sees fine young baritone Marcus Farnsworth perform songs by Schubert, Kurtág and Britten. Farnsworth was awarded first prize in the 2009 Wigmore Hall International Song Competition and the Song Prize at the 2011 Kathleen Ferrier Competition.

He is accompanied by James Baillieu, described by The Telegraph as 'in a class of his own...a remarkable pianist.'

This second event in our Summer Schubertiade series is presented by Brighton Festival as part of the London 2012 Festival, a spectacular 12-week nationwide celebration from 21 June - 9 September bringing together leading artists worldwide with the very best from the UK, funded by Arts Council England.
