Marius Neset

15 Feb 2013

His virtuoso technique, his energetic creativity and distinctiveness as a composer – drawing on a heritage that encompasses Django Bates and Bach, Frank Zappa and Stravinsky – makes Marius Neset one of today’s most talked-about jazz performers.

His latest album Birds is a through-composed collection of eleven songs that could sit as comfortably on the classical stage as in a jazz club. Marius will be performing as part of his quartet.
