Mimbre: The Exploded Circus

23 Feb 2018

A visually stunning performance from all-female troupe Mimbre.

The show starts as an explosion has been caught frozen in time, with the remnants of the circus ring left hanging in the air – suspended above the ground in a fleeting moment. It is in this world that six circus performers use acrobatics, aerial work, juggling and other specialist skills to weave a physical, highly visual story told without words. A story of finding your own order in chaos, creating a new normal and exploring the rebuilding of society.

An amazing introduction to contemporary circus.
