Loosely based on the DSTRKT nightspot incident of 2015, Queens of Sheba tells the hilarious, moving and uplifting stories of four Black women battling everyday misogynoir – where sexism meets racism. Written by Jessica L. Hagan and adapted for stage by Ryan Calais Cameron, Nouveau Riche is an exciting and diverse creative movement that won a 2018 Untapped Award and The Stage Edinburgh Award 2018.
