This young trio was formed at the Royal College of Music in 2008 and is composed of award-winning musicians from both Russia and the UK. William Stafford is an RCNM gold medallist and has appeared as principal clarinet with the London Symphony Orchestra. Ilya Movchan (violin) is a multi-award-winning graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory and Royal College. Konstantin Lapshin (piano) graduated with the highest RCM award, the Queen Elizabeth Rose Bowl, and was selected as a ‘Rising Star’ to play at Cadogan Hall.
