Shostakovich String Quartet No. 11 in F minor, Op. 122
This young, globetrotting quartet was formed in London in 2010 by multi-award-winning graduates of the Royal Northern College of Music, Royal Academy of Music and Eastman School of Music in the USA. In only two years they have made a significant mark on the international chamber music scene, and were recently rewarded with the prestigious 2011 Royal Overseas League Elias Fawcett Award for outstanding chamber music ensemble. They currently hold the 2011/12 Leverhulme Chamber Music Fellowship at the Royal Academy of Music.
