Martin Parr: Desert Island Pics

Fri 15 Feb 2013

Photographer Martin Parr’s witty, colourful images take an unconventional look at modern life. From busy British seaside resorts to empty spaces in foreign car parks, his vividly observational images have made him one of the most respected chroniclers of our age, while his highly opinionated views on photography have influenced a generation of photographers. In conversation with the artist, writer and lecturer Stephen Bull, Martin Parr reveals and discusses his eight favourite photographs.

This event is part of an ongoing series of Photoworks talks.
