The pull of the sea on our collective imaginations is irresistible and enduring. But what sort of images and memories does it conjure? Does it transport us to long forgotten dreams of childhood, or a bygone era of picture postcard fun? Or trigger thoughts of our endangered environment – of global warming and coastal erosion? Seasaw is a seafront promenade with a difference. As we stroll along the water’s edge, we experience a series of strange and surprising coastal encounters that put a whole new perspective on being ‘beside the seaside, beside the sea…’
