Reading and conversation featuring authors whose work is flavoured with the waters of a distant heritage
‘All water has a perfect memory and is forever trying to get back to where it was.’ – Toni Morrison
After a hugely successful début in 2019, we continue our Travelling Traditions strand exploring the enduring DNA of storytelling. This year the regions of focus are Central Europe and South Asia and we are lucky to welcome four of the most compelling writers of our times. Come and experience the rich, textured work of Romesh Gunesekera, Olivia Sudjic and George Szirtes.
Please note that Preti Taneja is no longer able to take part. We apologise for the disappointment
