How Do You Write Funny Books For Children?

Fri 15 Feb 2013

In this stimulating panel discussion, four authors who know the answer – or, at least, how they do it – share the tactics, the traps and the challenges involved in making books that make kids laugh.

Michael Rosen, former Children’s Laureate and Guest Director of this year’s Festival, is joined by the creator of the Eddie Dickens novels Philip Ardagh, the author and illustrator Liz Pichon, and the winner of last year’s Roald Dahl Funny Prize, fantasy author Jamie Thomson.
