The passion and the power of Tango are given an audacious new dimension by Tangomotán, a dynamic quartet that is weaving new musical sounds into the Tango tradition.

The members’ classical training and international backgrounds have given them a richly diverse sound landscape on which to draw: from Armenia to Corsica, Argentina and Finland, the classical and traditional music of many cultures is fused with pop-rock, electro or Gypsy music, with often astonishing results. Yet through it all, the Tango temperament remains, with all its potent ambiguity between exaltation and melancholy, vehemence and sweetness, hope and fury.
