The brilliant award-winning Pakistani/British author discusses her latest novel, A God in Every Stone – a story of friendship, injustice, love and betrayal played out on a global canvas, and in a Brighton miltary hospital taking in the battle for women’s suffrage in Britain and the prelude to the Armenian genocide.

Kamila Shamsie’s novels include In the City by the Sea and Kartography (both shortlisted for the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize); and Burnt Shadows (shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction). She was named one of Granta’s Best Young British Novelists in 2013
