A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Tue 5 Feb 2019

The UK's premiere all male theatre company, The Lord Chamberlain’s Men, return to Brighton Festival to celebrate their 15th year, and 425 years since the original company was created, with an open-air performance of Shakespeare’s magic-filled comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Experience this enchanting tale, overflowing with Elizabethan costumes, fairies, sprites, dukes, confused lovers, traditional music and dance, which promises to be another authentic, excellent and magical treat from the company that brought you last year's spellbinding production of The Tempest.

Set to be a wonderful event for all the family, enjoy this open-air performance in the peaceful, leafy surroundings of St Nicholas’ Rest Garden, located in the heart of Brighton’s bustling city centre. Pitch up with a chair and bring a picnic if you like.
