Hans created an object. Pieter wrote a story. Together they made a show. In this contemporary fable of personal freedom, feeling and resistance, an enigmatic trunk undergoes a remarkable metamorphosis, revealing landscapes and visions from the past. Two worlds unfold, gradually interweaving to create a richly poetic universe, at once personal and political, haunted by the spectre of the totalitarian book burnings of the past.
