(I Could Go On Singing) Over the Rainbow

Sun 12 Feb 2017

Stand hand-in-hand with performance artist FK Alexander and witness others do the same in this intimate and visceral one-to-one performance.

With live accompaniment from noise band Okishima Island Tourist Association, she sings along to the final recording made by Judy Garland of Over the Rainbow, just four months before her death: an impassioned, staccato rendition, a far cry from the Wizard of Oz recording that had made her a star.

Winner of the Total Theatre Award at Edinburgh Fringe 2016, FK Alexander’s performance is an affecting, emotional experience of undivided attention: a loud but loving noise.Audiences are free to come and go throughout the performance
