The young but accomplished Fournier Trio is already blazing a trail through the chamber music world, making acclaimed debuts at the Purcell Room and Wigmore Hall, London, and the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, in recent years. They present a programme of contrasts that moves from the elegant classicism of Haydn to the passionate intensity of Bridge’s Phantasie and the fiendish challenges and rich textures of Ravel’s Trio in A major.
