It was a shared passion for the 20th century repertoire that brought together the pianist–composer Antoine Francoise and the pianist–conductor Robin Green in 2008; winners of the 2011 Nicati Competition (Switzerland) and the chamber music category of last year’s Royal Overseas League Competition, they have given more than 30 world premieres. In this concert, however, they balance their Berg with works by two of the undisputed masters of chamber music.
