The String Quartet’s Guide to Sex and Anxiety

Wed 7 Feb 2018

Featuring compositions by Ligeti and Beethoven and directed by one of Europe’s most exciting theatre-makers, Calixto Bieito, this remarkable new production is a delicate and moving reflection on the fragility of the human condition.

With texts from writers Robert Burton, Anne Sexton, Stig Dagerman and many others, audiences encounter anxiety in its many forms. Award-winning string powerhouse The Heath Quartet play intertwined with an equally stunning quartet of actors - Cathy Tyson, Mairead McKinley, Miltos Yerolemou and Nick Harris - to create a ‘strange and beautiful’ (The Guardian) experience.
