Rear View

Mon 12 Feb 2018

‘If at 65 you could say something to yourself at 23, what would it be?’

Led by the performance poets Cecilia Knapp and Jemima Foxtrot, the innovatory theatre company IOU tells the story of a woman’s life in an unforgettable journey through Brighton aboard a unique open-top bus. Beginning with a life-drawing class, Rear View reveals the city in new ways, with reflections, predictions and observations blurring the lines between reality and fiction.

So all aboard for a view of Brighton as you’ve never seen it before, as the city’s streets become the stage for a mesmerising moving adventure.

‘Profound and perception-altering’ The Stage ****

Begins at The Barge, Brighton Marina & moves through the city.

David Wheeler, artistic director of Halifax-based IOU theatre tells us about Rear View in our Festival Hot Seat Interview.
