Chineke! Junior Quartet

The Chineke! Junior Quartet is drawn from the Chineke! Junior Orchestra, which is blazing a trail for talented teenage BME musicians. Following the Chineke! Orchestra’s sensational appearance at last year’s Festival, the Quartet performs Beethoven’s exhilarating Quartet in C minor Op 18 No 4 alongside two works by composers of BME heritage: Joseph Boulogne, a contemporary of Mozart; and the African–American composer Florence Price (1887–1953).
