A hilarious examination of gender and power using the arts world as a metaphor, by Brokentalkers & Adrienne Truscott.
Featuring the savagely comedic feminist discourse of Adrienne Truscott with the slippery dramatics of Brokentalkers, Masterclass parodies the ‘great male artist’ to within an inch of his life.
Truscott appears as a laughably macho Hemingway-esque playwright giving a cockamamie masterclass, alongside all-round good guy Fieldlim Cannon. It’s fun, it’s familiar, there are wigs. But something more is at play.
