Submit your New Dawn
Be part of the How Dark it is Before Dawn installation at the end of Brighton Festival 2025.
Artists Doyel Joshi and Neil Ghose Balser of Howareyoufeeling.studio were invited by Anoushka Shankar to reflect on the meaning of a New Dawn, asking them to create four different cover designs for our BF25 brochures.
We now invite you to create your own New Dawn – take a seat, watch the horizon, and show us what a New Dawn looks like to you. This immersive, participatory art installation, How dark it is before dawn, will then feature your work at The Old Courtroom from Fri 23-Mon 26 May.
To submit your New Dawn, download a blank sheet below and get creating – you can use pencils, pastels, collage, mosaic – whatever you like! Finished creations can be dropped off at Brighton Dome Ticket Office, Church St or you can share on Instagram by tagging @brightonfestival and #NewDawnBF.
Below you’ll find our online archive of submissions shared via #NewDawnBF.
