Festival of Ideas: an unclassified syncretism
Bleue Liverpool & Ibukun Sunday
Fri 23 May 2025
As part of her Stuart Hall Foundation Fellowship, the intermedia artist Bleue Liverpool collaborates with musician/sound artist Ibukun Sunday to create an audio visual intervention with the Meeting House Chapel. The duo will composite the metaphysical abstractions of University of Sussex alumni Paul Gilroy with research into migration narratives and landscapes of the south east English Channel coastline port culture.
A collaboration with Media, Arts and Humanities at the University of Sussex, the Festival of Ideas harnesses the transformative power of arts, culture, media and humanities to fashion new ways of thinking about the past, present and future.
