The Official Brighton Festival Closing Party

Shiva Soundsystem's founder Nerm welcomes his friends and top secret star guests to the decks for a super special closing party for Brighton Festival 2025. This is far from your average night out, as Nerm says: 

'This year‘s Brighton Festival is guest directed by the esteemed classical Indian musician Anoushka Shankar (multi-Grammy nominated, daughter of Ravi Shankar). She’s asked me to do the closing party on Bank Holiday Sunday... I’ve pulled out all the stops and developed a line-up that I think will turn some heads.' 

About the line-up

Double-headlining is Junglist and co-founder of the incredible club night Rupture, Mantra, doing an exclusive back-to-back set with the South Asian loop Maestra/cut-and-paste sensation Manara. 

OX7GEN is flying in from India for the show, fresh from his Boiler Room debut.

Joining us on the decks from Berlin is Sri-Lankan sensation Perera Elsewhere, while original Anokha (and Brighton) resident, Equal-i, harks back to the origins of Asian Underground while bringing it bang up to date. 

Nerm will be bringing up some well known mates to the DJ booth as part of “Nerm & Friends”. A look at the lineup for the rest of Brighton Festival might offer some clues...

As well as these incredible DJ's, Brighton Dome Corn Exchange will be bought to life with Indo-Italian projection mapping and motion graphics artists (who have worked with Wu-Tang Clan and the Chemical Brothers). Plus Kathak dancer Vidya Patel and her troupe will face off against Drag-star Bollyillusion  and their cohorts!
