New Zealand artist Aldous Harding kicks off her huge live tour at Brighton Festival ahead of her fifth studio album

Born near Christchurch in New Zealand, Hannah Harding, better known by her nom de plume Aldous Harding, grew up in a family of musicians, being involved in recording music from a young age. She got her break in music after being spotted when busking by musician Anika Moe, who invited the young busker to open her show that night.

Her critically acclaimed debut album was followed by the sophomore album Party, which was released under British independent label 4AD and produced with the help of PJ Harvey's producer John Parish. Since then, she has gone on to release two further studio albums, the most recent being Warm Chris in 2022.

Now she returns with her first live shows since 2023 on a huge live tour spanning three continents in support of her brand new fifth album, kicking it all off with her show at Brighton Festival.

The Foyer Bar will be open from 6pm, with live music by  Lucy & the Diamondz, and the visual art exhibition Act 0 presented by the Adelaide Salon will be open (for ticket holders only)

Act 0: Bob Dixon - Walkabouts II

Walkabouts II extends Dixon’s ongoing exploration of drawing as a durational and spatial practice. Rooted in walking, the work reflects an accumulation of observation—where landscape becomes both subject and structure.

The act of moving through space generates a visual language that oscillates between external environment and internal reflection. Bob Dixon’s practice spans drawing, painting and printmaking, shaped by dérive and sustained observation. His works operate as visual diaries, recording encounters with place while also drawing from symbolic and esoteric systems. Influenced by both landscape tradition and inner narrative, his practice navigates the relationship between perception, knowledge and experience.
